Ingredients for - Picadillo

1. Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
2. Ground beef - 1 pound
3. Chorizo sausage, chopped - ½ pound
4. Onion, chopped - 1 large
5. Chopped red bell pepper - ½ cup
6. Garlic, chopped - 2 cloves
7. Ground cumin - 1 tablespoon
8. Chili powder - 2 teaspoons
9. Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
10. Paprika - 1 teaspoon
11. Cayenne pepper - ¼ teaspoon
12. Ground cinnamon - ¼ teaspoon
13. Canned diced tomatoes - 1 ½ cups
14. Beef stock - ¾ cup
15. White sugar - 1 tablespoon
16. Raisins - ½ cup
17. Chopped pimento-stuffed green olives - ¼ cup
18. Apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons
19. Capers, drained - 1 tablespoon
20. Slivered almonds, toasted - ⅓ cup
21. Lime juice - 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - Picadillo

1. Stage

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and sausage; cook and stir until browned and crumbly, about 10 minutes. Drain some grease.

2. Stage

Add onion and bell pepper; cook and stir until soft, about 5 minutes. Stir in garlic, cumin, chili powder, oregano, paprika, cayenne pepper, and cinnamon; cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add tomatoes, stock, and sugar; stir to combine. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes.

3. Stage

Add raisins, olives, vinegar, and capers to the skillet; simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Stir in almonds and lime juice, and cook until warm, 2 to 3 minutes.
