2. 4 slices country bread, sliced 1/2-inch thick -
3. 2 tbsp. unsalted butter, room temperature -
4. 4 Eggland’s Best Cage Free Eggs -
5. Kosher salt -
6. Freshly ground black pepper -
7. 1/3 c. pizza sauce -
8. 1 c. shredded mozzarella -
9. 1 tbsp. freshly grated Parmesan -
10. 3 tbsp. mini pepperoni -

How to cook deliciously - Pizza Egg-In-A-Hole

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 400°. Grease a rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray. Using a small glass or biscuit cutter, cut a hole into the center (about 2 1/2 inches) of each slice of bread.

2. Stage

Butter both sides of each piece of bread, then place on the prepared baking sheet. Crack one egg into each hole and season with salt and pepper. Then top bread with pizza sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, and mini pepperonis.

Bake until cheese is bubbly and golden and egg is just set, about 15 minutes.
