1. Boneless, skinless chicken thighs - 2 ½ pounds
2. Chorizo sausage, chopped - ½ pound
3. Onions, chopped - 2 medium
4. Garlic, chopped - 4 cloves
5. Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
6. Ground black pepper to taste - 1 teaspoon
7. Diced tomatoes with garlic - 2 (14 ounce) cans
8. Tomato paste - 1 (6 ounce) can
9. Artichoke hearts, drained and chopped - 1 (14 ounce) can

How to cook deliciously - Portuguese-Inspired Slow Cooker Chicken Thighs

1. Stage

Combine chicken thighs, chorizo sausage, onions, garlic, oregano, and pepper in a slow cooker. Stir in diced tomatoes and tomato paste until well mixed. Cook on Low until chicken is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, 7 to 9 hours. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

2. Stage

Stir in artichoke hearts and cook on Low until heated through, 10 to 15 more minutes.
