1. 1/4 c. margarine or butter -
2. 1 package regular marshmallows or 5 cups miniature -
3. 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract (optional) -
4. 6 c. Kellogg's * Rice Krispies * cereal -
5. Prepared vanilla frosting -
6. red cinnamon candies -
7. Miniature marshmallows -

How to cook deliciously - Rice Krispies * Santa Claus Faces Recipe

1. Stage

Regular method: In a large microwave-safe bowl, heat margarine and marshmallows at High for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes.

2. Stage

Stir in vanilla. Stir in Kellogg's * Rice Krispies * cereal until well coated. Using lightly buttered spatula, press into buttered 3.5 L (13" x 9") pan.

3. Stage

Allow mixture to cool slightly. Using a round cookie cutter, cut cereal mixture into circles. Decorate with icing and candy as desired. Use a dot of frosting to secure the marshmallows and cinnamon candies.

4. Stage

Stove-top method: Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Follow steps 2 and 3 above.
