1. Sourdough bread, crusts removed and cut into small cubes - 6 thick slices
2. Raisins (Optional) - ¼ cup
3. Sliced almonds (Optional) - ¼ cup
4. Milk - 2 cups
5. Eggs, beaten - 4
6. White sugar - ¾ cup
7. Salted butter - 3 tablespoons
8. Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
9. Ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
10. Salted butter - 1 stick
11. Confectioners' sugar - 1 cup
12. Amaretto liqueur - ¼ cup

How to cook deliciously - San Francisco Sourdough Bread Pudding with Amaretto Sauce

1. Stage

Place bread cubes in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Add raisins and almonds.

Combine milk, eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl. Pour mixture over bread and let sit for about 30 minutes to let bread absorb and soften.
