Ingredients for - Simple Cauliflower and Pear Salad

1. Bartlett pear halves in heavy syrup - 1 (15.25 ounce) can
2. Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
3. Mayonnaise - 1 teaspoon
4. Small cauliflower florets - 4 ounces
5. Shredded green leaf lettuce - 2 cups
6. Shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - Simple Cauliflower and Pear Salad

1. Stage

Drain and reserve syrup from pear halves.

2. Stage

Whisk reserved syrup and 2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon mayonnaise in a small bowl. Place cauliflower florets in the dressing for 5 minutes.

3. Stage

Divide pear halves and lettuce between 2 salad plates. Remove cauliflower florets from the dressing using a slotted spoon; divide evenly between the plates. Spoon desired amount of dressing over salads. Top with Cheddar cheese.
