1. Butter - 2 tablespoons
2. Onion, chopped - 1
3. Cabbage, coarsely chopped - 1 small head
4. Water - ¼ cup
5. Potatoes, scrubbed and sliced - 3 large
6. Seasoning salt - 1 dash
7. Paprika, or to taste - 1 dash
8. Cubed cooked ham - 2 cups

How to cook deliciously - Skillet Ham, Cabbage, and Potatoes

1. Stage

Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat; stir in onion. Cook and stir until the onion has softened and turned translucent, about 5 minutes.

2. Stage

Stir in cabbage. Add water, cover, and simmer gently on low heat for ten minutes.

3. Stage

Add potatoes and stir well; cover and simmer for 10 more minutes, adding additional water if needed.

4. Stage

Sprinkle seasoning salt and paprika over cabbage and potatoes; simmer, covered, until cabbage is soft and potatoes are fork-tender. Mix in ham; simmer until heated through.
