2. Onion, chopped 1
3. Cabbage, coarsely chopped 1 small head
4. Water ¼ cup
5. Potatoes, scrubbed and sliced 3 large
6. Seasoning salt 1 dash
7. Paprika, or to taste 1 dash
8. Cubed cooked ham 2 cups

1 . Stage

Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat; stir in onion. Cook and stir until the onion has softened and turned translucent, about 5 minutes.

Stir in cabbage. Add water, cover, and simmer gently on low heat for ten minutes.

Add potatoes and stir well; cover and simmer for 10 more minutes, adding additional water if needed.
