1. Extra-virgin olive oil 1 tablespoon
2. Garlic, finely chopped, divided 4 cloves
3. Crushed tomatoes 2 (28 ounce) cans
4. Dried oregano ½ teaspoon
5. Salt, divided 1 ¾ teaspoons
6. Turkey sausage, casings removed and crumbled 2 pounds
7. Lean ground turkey 1 ¼ pounds
8. Plain dry bread crumbs 1 ¼ cups
9. Freshly grated Parmesan cheese ¾ cup
10. Eggs 2 large
11. Chopped fresh parsley ¼ cup

How to cook deliciously - Slow Cooker Turkey Sausage Meatballs

1 . Stage

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add 1/2 of the garlic and saute for 30 seconds. Scrape into the bottom of a slow cooker and stir in tomatoes, oregano, and 3/4 teaspoon salt.

2 . Stage

Combine remaining garlic, remaining salt, turkey sausage, ground turkey, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, eggs, and parsley in a large bowl. Blend using your hands and form into 2-inch balls. Place into the slow cooker. Spoon tomato mixture over meatballs.

3 . Stage

Cover and cook on Low until no longer pink in the center, 4 to 5 hours.
