1. Prepared cornbread 1 (9x9 inch) pan
2. Chopped romaine lettuce 2 cups
3. Black beans, rinsed and drained 1 (15 ounce) can
4. Whole kernel corn, drained 1 (15 ounce) can
5. Orange bell pepper, diced 1 medium
6. Diced tomatoes 1 (14.5 ounce) can
7. Shredded Cheddar cheese 1 cup
8. Green onions, thinly sliced 2 stalks
9. Avocado, mashed 1 medium
10. Jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced ½ medium
11. Lime, juiced ½ medium
12. Chopped fresh cilantro ¼ cup
13. Olive oil 1 tablespoon
14. Ground cumin ½ teaspoon
15. Garlic salt ¼ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Southwest Cornbread Salad

1 . Stage

Cube cornbread.

2 . Stage

Layer cornbread cubes, romaine, beans, corn, bell pepper, tomatoes, Cheddar cheese, and green onions in a large trifle bowl, in that order.

3 . Stage

Stir avocado, jalapeno, lime juice, cilantro, olive oil, cumin, and garlic salt for dressing in a bowl until well combined. Drizzle over salad.
