Ingredients for - Squash and Apple Bake

1. Packed light brown sugar - ½ cup
2. Butter, melted - ¼ cup
3. All-purpose flour - 1 tablespoon
4. Salt - 1 teaspoon
5. Ground mace - ½ teaspoon
6. Butternut squash - peeled, seeded, and cut into 1/2 inch slices - 2 pounds
7. Apples - cored, and cut into 1/2 inch slices - 2 large

How to cook deliciously - Squash and Apple Bake

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2. Stage

Stir together brown sugar, butter, flour, salt, and mace in a bowl.

3. Stage

Arrange squash in an ungreased 9x13-inch baking dish. Top with slices of apple, then sprinkle with brown sugar mixture. Cover with a lid or aluminum foil.

Bake in the preheated oven until squash is tender, 50 to 60 minutes.
