1. 1 c. water
2. 1 c. sugar
3. 2/3 c. freshly squeezed lime juice
4. 1/2 c. tequila
5. 3 tbsp. triple sec
6. 2 tbsp. lime zest
7. 5 c. frozen strawberries

How to cook deliciously - Strawberry Daiquiri Italian Ice

1 . Stage

In a small saucepan bring water and sugar to a boil and whisk until sugar dissolves. Let boil 3 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool.

2 . Stage

In a blender, blend lime juice, tequila, triple sec, lime zest, strawberries, and 1/3 cup simple syrup until combined. (Store remaining simple syrup in the fridge up to 2 weeks.)

3 . Stage

Pour into a loaf pan and freeze 3 hours.

4 . Stage

When ready to serve, remove sorbet from freezer and let soften 5 minutes. Run a lime wedge around a margarita glass and dip in salt. Serve sorbet in glasses.
