3. Soy sauce ¼ cup
4. Tamarind pulp 2 tablespoons
5. Dried rice noodles 1 (12 ounce) package
6. Vegetable oil ½ cup
7. Minced garlic 1 ½ teaspoons
8. Eggs 4
9. Firm tofu, cut into 1/2 inch strips 1 (12 ounce) package
10. White sugar 1 ½ tablespoons
11. Salt 1 ½ teaspoons
12. Ground peanuts 1 ½ cups
13. Ground, dried oriental radish 1 ½ teaspoons
14. Chopped fresh chives ½ cup
15. Paprika 1 tablespoon
16. Fresh bean sprouts 2 cups

How to cook deliciously - Sukhothai Pad Thai

1 . Stage

To prepare pad thai sauce: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, blend sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, and tamarind pulp.

2 . Stage

To make pad thai: Soak rice noodles in cold water until soft; drain. In a large skillet or wok over medium heat, warm oil and add garlic and eggs; scramble eggs. Add tofu and stir until well mixed; add noodles and stir until cooked.

3 . Stage

Stir in pad thai sauce, 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar, and 1 1/2 teaspoons salt. Stir in peanuts and ground radish. Remove from heat and add chives and paprika.

4 . Stage

Serve with lime and bean sprouts on the side.
