5. Red pepper flakes, or to taste - ¼ teaspoon
6. Balsamic Vinegar - 2 teaspoons
7. White sugar - 2 teaspoons
8. Basil leaves, torn into pieces - ¾ cup
9. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - ¾ cup
