1. Cherry tomatoes, halved 4 cups

8. Freshly ground black pepper ½ teaspoon
9. Red pepper flakes ¼ teaspoon
10. Penne pasta 1 (16 ounce) package
11. Chopped fresh basil 1 tablespoon
12. Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste ¼ cup
