Ingredients for - Vegetable Chowder

1. Chopped red bell pepper - ½ cup
2. Chopped onion - ½ cup
3. Margarine - ¼ cup
4. Chopped celery - 1 cup
5. Cauliflower, chopped - 1 cup
6. Diced carrots - 1 cup
7. Fresh chopped broccoli - 1 cup
8. Water - 3 cups
9. Chicken bouillon - 3 cubes
10. All-purpose flour - ½ cup
11. Chopped fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon
12. Shredded Cheddar cheese - 3 cups
13. Salt to taste - 3 cups
14. Ground black pepper to taste - 3 cups
15. Milk - 1 ½ cups

How to cook deliciously - Vegetable Chowder

1. Stage

In a Dutch oven or soup kettle, saute the pepper and onions in butter or margarine until tender.

2. Stage

Add remaining vegetables, water, bouillon, salt, and pepper; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer covered for 20 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.

3. Stage

Combine flour and milk until smooth; stir into pan. Bring soup to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Mix in the parsley. Just before serving, stir in the cheese until melted.
