Ingredients for - Vegetarian Taco Burgers

1. Kidney beans, rinsed and drained - 1 (14.5 ounce) can
2. Taco seasoning mix - 4 tablespoons
3. Freshly ground black pepper - 1 pinch
4. Firm tofu, drained - 1 (12 ounce) package
5. Crushed cheese-flavored tortilla chips - 1 cup
6. All-purpose flour - 4 tablespoons
7. Canola oil, or as needed - 2 tablespoons

How to cook deliciously - Vegetarian Taco Burgers

1. Stage

Combine beans, taco seasoning mix, and pepper in a large bowl with an electric mixer. Add tofu and mash into the bean paste until mostly smooth but with some chunks remaining. Mix in 1/2 of the crushed chips and flour. Divide mixture into 4 patties and press together firmly so they hold their shape. Turn them over in the remaining crushed chips to coat.

2. Stage

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add burgers and fry until crispy, 2 to 3 minutes per side.
