Ingredients for - Whole Grilled Trout

1. Whole trout, cleaned 2
2. Olive oil, divided 1 tablespoon
3. Coarse sea salt to taste 1 pinch
4. Ground black pepper 1 pinch
5. Lemon, thinly sliced ½
6. Sweet onion, thinly sliced ½
7. Garlic, minced 1 clove
8. Fresh rosemary 2 sprigs
9. Fresh thyme 2 sprigs

How to cook deliciously - Whole Grilled Trout

1 . Stage

Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil the grate.

2 . Stage

Rub the outside of each trout generously with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.

3 . Stage

Sprinkle inside cavities with salt and black pepper. Place 1/2 of the lemon and onion slices into cavity of each trout as well, along with minced garlic, sprig of rosemary, and sprig of thyme.

4 . Stage

Turn preheated grill down to low and place the trout directly onto the grill; cook until flesh flakes easily and the skins are browned, 6 to 7 minutes per side, flipping once.
