1. 2 cups shredded peeled tart apples
2. 2 cups shredded peeled pears
3. 2 cups sugar
4. 1-1/4 cups canola oil
5. 1 cup raisins
6. 1 cup chopped pecans
7. 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
8. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
9. 3 cups all-purpose flour
10. 2 teaspoons baking soda
11. 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
12. 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
13. 1/2 teaspoon salt
14. CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:
15. 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
16. 3 cups confectioners' sugar
17. 1/4 cup butter, softened
18. 2 tablespoons 2% milk
19. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to cook deliciously - Apple Pear Cake

1 . Stage

In a large bowl, combine the first 8 ingredients. Combine dry ingredients; stir into the fruit mixture.

2 . Stage

Pour into a greased 13x9-in. baking pan. Bake at 325° until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 1 hour. Cool completely on a wire rack.

3 . Stage

For frosting, in a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, confectioners' sugar and butter until smooth. Beat in the milk and vanilla; frost cake. Store in the refrigerator.
