2. Lean bacon, chopped 2 slices
3. Onion, finely chopped 1 small
4. Chanterelle mushrooms, cut lengthwise 1 pound
5. Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste 1 pound
6. Chopped fresh parsley, or to taste 2 tablespoons

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook bacon and onion until onion is soft and translucent and bacon is crisp, about 5 minutes.
