Ingredients for - Best-Ever Cheese Fondue

1. 1/3 lb. shredded Gruyère -
2. 1/3 lb. shredded gouda -
3. 1/2 lb. shredded Fontina -
4. 2 tbsp. cornstarch -
5. 2 cloves garlic, peeled and halved -
6. 1 c. dry white wine -
7. 1 tsp. Dijon mustard  -
8. Kosher salt -
9. Freshly ground black pepper -
10. Cubed crusty bread -
11. Cherry tomatoes -
12. Sliced apples -
13. Cornichons -

How to cook deliciously - Best-Ever Cheese Fondue

1. Stage

In a bowl, toss cheeses with cornstarch. Rub garlic cloves all over the inside of a sauce pan, then discard. 

2. Stage

Over medium heat, add wine to saucepan and bring to a simmer. Add cheese mixture in four batches, whisking constantly and letting cheese melt completely between additions. 

3. Stage

Add mustard and stir just until fondue begins to bubble, about 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

4. Stage

Serve hot with bread, cherry tomatoes, apples, and cornichons.
