1. Butter - 2 tablespoons
2. Skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - diced - 2 ½ pounds
3. Onion, diced - 1 large
4. Potatoes, diced - 6 medium
5. Carrots, drained - 1 (15 ounce) can
6. Peas, drained - 1 (10 ounce) can
7. Corn, drained - 1 (11 ounce) can
8. Milk - 1 cup
9. Water, or as needed - 2 cups
10. Hot pepper sauce to taste - 2 cups
11. Salt to taste - 2 cups
12. Ground black pepper to taste - 2 cups

How to cook deliciously - Chicken and Potato Soup

1. Stage

Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat, and cook the chicken 10 minutes, or until evenly browned and juices run clear.

2. Stage

Mix the onion into pot with the chicken. Mix in potatoes, carrots, peas, and corn. Pour in milk an enough water to cover all ingredients. Season with hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, and continue cooking 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender.
