1. Stage
Marinate the shanks however you like. You can even just marinate them in salt. Leave to marinate for a while.

Cut garlic and cheese into small pieces. Make pockets on both sides of the shin and put - 1 piece of cheese and 1 piece of garlic.

Roll out the puff pastry lightly and cut lengthwise.
4. Stage
Wrap the dough around the shank (one strip of dough per thigh). Stretch the dough around the chicken as much as you can, if the entire shin is covered and there is still a strip of dough, tear it off, it may come in handy if it is missing somewhere.
5. Stage
Bake at 200 degrees, about 30 minutes, checking periodically to make sure it's done.
