Ingredients for - Chicken Stroganoff

1. All-purpose flour for coating - 2 cups
2. Salt and pepper to taste - 2 cups
3. Skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - 4
4. Butter - 1 tablespoon
5. Fresh sliced mushrooms - 2 cups
6. Condensed cream of chicken soup - 1 (10.5 ounce) can
7. Half-and-half cream - 1 ¼ cups
8. Dry onion soup mix - 1 (1 ounce) package
9. Chopped fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons
10. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
11. Browning sauce - 1 teaspoon
12. Ground nutmeg - ¼ teaspoon
13. Sour cream - 1 cup
14. Chopped green onion for topping (Optional) - ⅛ cup

How to cook deliciously - Chicken Stroganoff

1. Stage

Place flour in a shallow dish or bowl and season with salt and pepper. Dredge chicken in seasoned flour to coat.

2. Stage

Heat butter in a large skillet. Sear coated chicken in melted butter until golden.

3. Stage

Combine mushrooms, condensed soup, half-and-half, dry onion soup mix, parsley, garlic, browning sauce, and nutmeg in a medium bowl. Mix all together and pour mixture over chicken in skillet. Reduce heat to low and let simmer, covered, for 1 hour.

4. Stage

Stir in sour cream and heat through but do not boil. Top with chopped green onion and serve over noodles or rice.
