1. Vanilla wafers, crushed - 1 (12 ounce) package
2. Chopped nuts - 1 ½ cups
3. Confectioners' sugar - ¾ cup
4. Cocoa - ¼ cup
5. Light rum - ½ cup
6. Light corn syrup - 3 tablespoons
7. Confectioners' sugar, or more as needed - ⅛ cup

How to cook deliciously - Cocoa Rum Balls

1. Stage

Combine vanilla wafers, nuts, 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar, and cocoa in a large bowl. Mix in rum and corn syrup until well combined. Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in confectioners' sugar to coat.

2. Stage

Store rum balls in an airtight container for 2 to 3 days to develop flavor. Roll them again in confectioners' sugar before serving.
