1. Bacon, chopped 1 slice
2. Onion, chopped ½
3. Green bell pepper, chopped ¼
4. Chopped fresh thyme ½ teaspoon
5. Tomato sauce ½ cup
6. Browning sauce 1 teaspoon
7. Salt 1 teaspoon
8. Ground black pepper ½ teaspoon
9. Red pepper flakes 1 pinch
10. Whole kernel corn, drained 2 (14 ounce) cans
11. Water 3 ½ cups
12. White rice 2 cups

How to cook deliciously - Corn and Rice

1 . Stage

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir bacon in the hot skillet until grease begins to render. Add onion, bell pepper, and thyme; cook, stirring occasionally, until onion is nearly translucent. Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in tomato sauce, browning sauce, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes; simmer for 3 minutes.

2 . Stage

Add corn; simmer for 3 more minutes. Slowly pour in water while stirring. Increase heat to high and stir in rice; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer until liquid is absorbed, about 30 minutes.
