1. Ground beef - 1 pound
2. Onion, chopped - ½
3. Red bell peppers, cut into 2 inch pieces - 2
4. Baked beans - 1 (15 ounce) can
5. Dry fajita seasoning - 1 tablespoon
6. Corn bread mix - 1 (8.5 ounce) package
7. Egg - 1
8. Milk - ⅓ cup

How to cook deliciously - Cowboy Skillet Casserole

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2. Stage

Crumble ground beef into a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Cook, frequently stirring, until beef is evenly brown. Drain grease and add onion. Cook and stir until onion is translucent. Add red peppers, beans, and fajita seasoning; cook and stir until heated through. Spread out in an even layer on the bottom of the skillet.

Stir the package of corn bread mix according to its directions using egg and milk. Spoon over ground beef mixture, and evenly spread.

4. Stage

Place the whole skillet in the oven, and bake for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into corn bread layer comes out clean. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
