1. Picked over turkey carcass - 1
2. Leftover stuffing - 1 ½ cups
3. Onion, peeled and diced - 1
4. Carrots, peeled and sliced - 2
5. Celery stalks, chopped - 2
6. Poultry seasoning - 1 tablespoon
7. Ground sage - 1 teaspoon
8. Bay leaves - 2
9. Chicken broth - 2 ½ quarts
10. Water, or as needed (Optional) - 1 cup
11. Garlic salt, or to taste - ½ teaspoon
12. Ground black pepper, to taste - ½ teaspoon
13. (uncooked) regular long-grain white rice - 2 cups
14. Frozen green peas - 1 (16 ounce) package

1. Stage

Place turkey carcass in a large, deep pot. Add stuffing, onion, carrots, celery, poultry seasoning, sage, and bay leaves. Dotdash Meredith Food Studios
