1. Italian sausage ½ pound
2. Tomato sauce 4 (6.5 ounce) cans
3. Diced tomatoes 1 (14.5 ounce) can
4. Bay leaves 2
5. Italian seasoning 1 teaspoon
6. Garlic powder ½ teaspoon
7. Dried basil 1 teaspoon
8. Dried oregano 1 teaspoon
9. Salt and pepper to taste 1 teaspoon
10. Spaghetti 1 (8 ounce) package

1 . Stage

In a large skillet, brown sausage over medium heat; drain and set aside.

2 . Stage

In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, bay leaves, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, basil, oregano, salt, pepper and Italian sausage; mix well.

3 . Stage

Simmer over medium-low heat for at least one hour; it is best if simmered all day.

4 . Stage

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.

Mix sauce with hot pasta; serve.
