3. Simple syrup - 1 teaspoon
4. Lemon juice - ½ fluid ounce
5. Brut champagne, chilled - 5 fluid ounces
6. Lemon - 1 slice

1. Stage

Chill cocktail shaker and glass (champagne flute or collins glass) in the freezer. Add ice to shaker. Pour gin, simple syrup, and lemon juice into shaker. Shake well.
