1. Barilla Gluten Free Penne 1 (12 ounce) box
2. Extra-virgin olive oil 4 tablespoons
3. Boneless, skinless chicken thighs 4
4. Vidalia onion, cut julienne style 1
5. Red bell pepper, cut julienne style 1
6. Domestic mushrooms, quartered 6
7. Garlic, chopped 3 cloves
8. Cajun seasoning 1 tablespoon
9. Dry white wine ½ cup
10. Heavy cream ½ cup
11. Parmesan cheese, grated ½ cup
12. Salt and black pepper to taste ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - Gluten Free Penne with Cajun Chicken

1 . Stage

Bring a large pot of water to a boil.

2 . Stage

Meanwhile in a hot skillet, brown the chicken in olive oil over high heat for approximately 5 minutes. Add onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, garlic and Cajun seasoning and saute for 3 additional minutes. Stir in wine then season with salt and pepper; reduce liquid by half.

Add cream and bring to simmer.

4 . Stage

Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions.

Drain and toss with sauce and stir in cheese before serving.
