4. Brown sugar - ¼ cup
5. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
6. Grated fresh ginger - 1 tablespoon
7. Chile-garlic sauce, or to taste - 1 tablespoon
8. Chicken wings, cut apart at joints, wing tips discarded - 3 pounds
