Ingredients for - Italian Style Winter Soup

1. Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
2. Garlic, minced - 3 cloves
3. Chopped onion - 2 tablespoons
4. Italian sausage, sliced - 4 (3.5 ounce) links
5. Chicken stock - 8 cups
6. Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
7. Dried basil - 1 tablespoon
8. Chopped fresh parsley - ¼ cup
9. Uncooked white rice - 2 cups
10. Heavy cream - ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - Italian Style Winter Soup

1. Stage

Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add garlic and onion and cook, stirring, for 3 minutes, or until tender. Add sausage, browning well on all sides, about 5 minutes.

2. Stage

Add chicken stock, oregano, basil, and parsley. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer 1 hour.

Add rice and simmer 30 minutes longer.

4. Stage

Add cream, stirring well. Remove from heat and let soup rest for 5 minutes before serving.
