1. Pine nuts - ¼ cup
2. Chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained with 1/4 cup of the liquid reserved - 1 (15 ounce) can
3. Lemon juice - ¼ cup
4. Olive oil, plus more for drizzling - ¼ cup
5. Tahini - 2 tablespoons
6. Garlic, minced - 4 cloves
7. Ground cumin - 2 ¼ teaspoons
8. Paprika - ¼ teaspoon
9. Salt - 2 pinches
10. Crushed peppercorns - ½ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Joe's Hummus with Pine Nuts

1. Stage

Heat a small skillet over medium heat. Toast pine nuts in a skillet, frequently stirring, until fragrant and beginning to brown, 3 to 5 minutes.

Blend chickpeas, reserved liquid, lemon juice, 1/4 cup olive oil, tahini, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and crushed peppercorns in a food processor until smooth.
