1 . Stage
Add the yeast and a tablespoon of sugar to the warm water. Wait until the yeast is bubbling and add the rest of the ingredients. Knead into an elastic dough. It should be slightly sticky.
2 . Stage
Grease a bowl with oil, transfer the dough to it and leave it to rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours. The dough should double in size. When the dough has risen enough - knead it and leave it to rest for another 20 minutes.
3 . Stage
You may need to sprinkle the table with flour to prevent the dough from sticking. Roll out the dough into a large rectangle about 0.5 cm thick.
4 . Stage
Next, brush it with melted butter and sprinkle it with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon (you can add a little vanilla sugar for flavor). At this point I want to tell you that I found a tablespoon of cinnamon to be too much, a full teaspoon would have been enough. So it's up to your taste)
5 . Stage
Roll the dough into a roll and cut it into 12 equal pieces.
6 . Stage
Chop the nuts a little bit. I used walnuts.
7 . Stage
In a separate bowl, heat the butter and honey until smooth. Take a container with a HIGH rim, that is, a simple baking pan will not work, pour the oil and honey mixture into it, and sprinkle the nuts.
8 . Stage
We put all this beauty in the fridge overnight, or you can lightly cover the buns with oiled clingfilm and leave them to rise for about 1 hour. I had them for about 20 hours.
9 . Stage
While the oven is preheating, take the buns out of the refrigerator and let them stand. Bake for 30-35 minutes at 190 degrees. Such beautiful and fragrant creations we have!
10 . Stage
When our buns have already left the oven, turn them over onto another dish or mold so that the nuts are on top... What are you waiting for? Go ahead) GO GOOD EATING!!!
