Ingredients for - Hot and Sour Tofu Soup (Suan La Dofu Tang)

1. Vegetable broth - 4 cups
2. Silken tofu, diced - 1 (12 ounce) package
3. Green onions, chopped - 2
4. Eggs, beaten - 1
5. Portobello mushroom, halved and sliced - 1
6. Chopped cabbage - 2 cups
7. Thai chile sauce - 1 tablespoon
8. Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
9. Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
10. Citric acid powder (Optional) - 1 teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Hot and Sour Tofu Soup (Suan La Dofu Tang)

1. Stage

Measure broth into a saucepan, and bring to a simmer over medium-low heat. Add tofu and green onions. Slowly drizzle in the beaten egg to make long strands of egg. Add mushrooms and cabbage, and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and season with chili sauce, vinegar and soy sauce. Stir in citric acid if using.
