1. Vegetable broth 4 cups
2. Silken tofu, diced 1 (12 ounce) package
3. Green onions, chopped 2
4. Eggs, beaten 1
5. Portobello mushroom, halved and sliced 1
6. Chopped cabbage 2 cups
7. Thai chile sauce 1 tablespoon
8. Rice vinegar 1 tablespoon
9. Soy sauce 3 tablespoons
10. Citric acid powder (Optional) 1 teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Hot and Sour Tofu Soup (Suan La Dofu Tang)

1 . Stage

Measure broth into a saucepan, and bring to a simmer over medium-low heat. Add tofu and green onions. Slowly drizzle in the beaten egg to make long strands of egg. Add mushrooms and cabbage, and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and season with chili sauce, vinegar and soy sauce. Stir in citric acid if using.
