Ingredients for - John Wayne Casserole

1. Refrigerated biscuits - 1 (16.3 ounce) can
2. Ground beef - 2 pounds
3. Taco seasoning - 1 (1 ounce) package
4. Water - ¾ cup
5. Onion, halved and sliced - 1 medium
6. Red bell pepper, halved and sliced (1 1/2 cups) - 1 medium
7. Sour cream - ½ cup
8. Mayonnaise - ½ cup
9. Shredded Cheddar cheese, divided - 8 ounces
10. Tomatoes, sliced - 2 medium
11. Sliced jalapeno peppers, drained (Optional) - 1 (4 ounce) jar

How to cook deliciously - John Wayne Casserole

1. Stage

Gather the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan. ALLRECIPES/VICTORIA JEMPTY

Meanwhile, heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and cook ground beef until browned and crumbly, about 5 minutes. Drain fat. Stir in taco seasoning and water.
