Ingredients for - Lentil Protein Brownies

1. Cooking spray -
2. Green lentils, drained and rinsed - 1 (15 ounce) can
3. Water, or as needed - 3 tablespoons
4. Eggs - 3
5. White sugar, or more to taste - 7 tablespoons
6. Margarine (such as Smart Balance®) - 3 tablespoons
7. Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
8. Cocoa powder - 6 tablespoons
9. Vanilla protein powder - 5 scoops

How to cook deliciously - Lentil Protein Brownies

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat bottom and sides of an 8-inch baking pan with cooking spray.

2. Stage

Place lentils and water in a blender; puree into a smooth paste.

3. Stage

Transfer lentil paste to a large bowl. Mix in eggs, sugar, margarine, and vanilla extract. Stir in cocoa powder and protein powder until batter is thick and well-combined. Pour into the prepared pan.

4. Stage

Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes.
