1. Chopped escarole 1 ½ cups
2. Chopped spinach 1 ½ cups
3. Chopped kale 1 cup
4. Celery, chopped 2 stalks
5. Chopped Granny Smith apple ½ cup
6. Water ½ cup
7. Lemon juice 2 tablespoons
8. Honey 1 tablespoon
9. Fresh ginger, chopped 1 (1 inch) piece

How to cook deliciously - Midwinter Greens Tonic

1 . Stage

Puree escarole, spinach, kale, celery, apple, water, lemon juice, honey, and ginger in a blender until very smooth. Strain, pressing through a fine-mesh sieve. Serve immediately over ice or chill up to 1 hour and shake well to redistribute.
