How to cook deliciously - Monkey Bread with Frozen Bread Dough

1. Stage

Cut the thawed bread dough into 1-inch pieces, and place them in a greased 13x9-inch baking dish. Editor's Tip: If you can't find frozen bread dough, frozen dinner rolls will also work here. Let them thaw overnight in the fridge, and tear them into 1-inch pieces.

2. Stage

Combine the brown sugar, cubed butter, vanilla pudding mix, milk and cinnamon in a large saucepan, and bring the mixture to a boil. Cook and stir the sauce for one minute, then remove the pan from the heat. Pour the hot sauce over the bread dough pieces in the baking dish.

3. Stage

Cover the dish loosely with parchment or nonstick foil. Let the dough rise in a warm place until it's almost doubled in size, about 45 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

4. Stage

Remove the foil or parchment and slide the dish into the oven. Bake the monkey bread until golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes. Immediately invert the monkey bread onto a serving platter or plate. Serve it warm. Editor's Tip: Have a large platter or plate ready! You'll need it to hold the inverted monkey bread once it comes out of the oven. If there's any saucy goodness left in the baking dish after inverting the bread, use a rubber spatula to remove every last sticky bit.
