1. Butter ½ cup
2. Onion, diced 1 large
3. Green bell pepper, chopped 1 large
4. Celery, chopped 4 stalks
5. Garlic, minced 4 cloves
6. Tomato paste 1 (6 ounce) can
7. Bay leaves 3
8. Creole seasoning blend (such as the one linked in the footnote) 3 tablespoons
9. Worcestershire sauce 4 teaspoons
10. Whole peeled tomatoes 2 (28 ounce) cans
11. Chicken stock 7 cups
12. Chopped cooked ham 3 cups
13. Cooked andouille sausage, sliced 3 cups
14. Cooked chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces 3 cups
15. Frozen cooked shrimp 3 cups
16. Uncooked long-grain white rice 4 cups

How to cook deliciously - Oven Baked Jambalaya

1 . Stage

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2 . Stage

Melt butter in large stock pot. Saute onion, green pepper, celery and garlic until tender, being careful not to burn the garlic. Add tomato paste and cook to brown slightly, stirring constantly. Stir in bay leaves, Creole seasoning blend and Worcestershire sauce. Pour into a large roasting pan. Squeeze tomatoes to break up into pieces, and add to mixture in pan. Stir in juice from tomatoes, chicken stock, ham, sausage, chicken, shrimp and rice. Mix well. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.

3 . Stage

Bake in preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours, stirring once halfway through baking time. Remove bay leaves before serving. cookin'mama
