Ingredients for - Pasta with Garlic Scapes

1. Dried spaghetti - 1 (8 ounce) package
2. Extra-virgin olive oil - ½ cup
3. Garlic scapes, tops trimmed and stems finely chopped - 4
4. Chopped fresh parsley (Optional) - 3 tablespoons
5. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - 3 tablespoons
6. Freshly grated Parmesan cheese - 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - Pasta with Garlic Scapes

1. Stage

Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil. Stir in spaghetti and return to a boil. Cook uncovered, occasionally stirring, until tender yet firm to the bite, 9 to 11 minutes. Drain.

2. Stage

Heat olive oil in a deep skillet until hot. Remove from heat and add garlic scapes; let stand for 3 minutes. Mix in parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Serve over drained spaghetti sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
