1. Penne pasta 1 (16 ounce) package
2. Olive oil 1 tablespoon
3. Onion, chopped 1 medium
4. Crushed garlic 2 cloves
5. Crushed tomatoes 1 (14.5 ounce) can
6. Capers 1 tablespoon
7. Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
8. Chopped fresh parsley 1 tablespoon
9. Red pepper flakes, or to taste ¼ teaspoon
10. Tuna, drained 2 (5 ounce) cans

How to cook deliciously - Pasta with Tuna Sauce

1 . Stage

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add penne and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, 10 to 12 minutes.

2 . Stage

Heat oil over low heat in a large skillet. Add onion and garlic; cook and stir until onion is tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, capers, lemon juice, parsley, and pepper flakes. Simmer gently until sauce thickens, about 3 minutes. Fold in tuna and cook until heated through.

3 . Stage

Drain penne and return to the pot. Pour sauce over pasta and toss to coat.
