Ingredients for - Crispy Teriyaki Tofu

1. Vegetarian teriyaki sauce - 3 tablespoons
2. Green onions, chopped - 2
3. Sherry - 1 tablespoon
4. Minced garlic - 1 teaspoon
5. Sriracha sauce (Optional) - 1 teaspoon
6. Ginger paste - ½ teaspoon
7. Cornstarch - 5 tablespoons
8. Extra-firm tofu, pressed and cut into slices - 1 (14 ounce) package
9. Olive oil - 2 tablespoons

How to cook deliciously - Crispy Teriyaki Tofu

1. Stage

Whisk teriyaki sauce, green onions, sherry, garlic, Sriracha sauce, and ginger paste together until smooth. Set aside.

2. Stage

Place cornstarch in a 1-gallon zip-top bag. Drop tofu slices into the bag, seal, and gently shake until all tofu is coated.

3. Stage

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook tofu for 5 minutes. Flip with tongs and cook until browned on the second side, about 5 minutes more. Transfer the tofu to a plate and wipe the skillet clean.

4. Stage

Pour reserved sauce into the skillet and cook until slightly thickened, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Return tofu to the skillet and toss to combine.

Transfer the tofu to serving plates and spoon sauce on top just before serving.
