1. Rotini pasta 1 ½ cups
2. Pesto, or to taste 3 tablespoons
3. Extra-virgin olive oil 1 tablespoon
4. Salt, or to taste ¼ teaspoon
5. Granulated garlic ¼ teaspoon
6. Ground black pepper ⅛ teaspoon
7. Halved grape tomatoes ½ cup
8. Small (pearlini) fresh mozzarella balls ½ cup
9. Fresh basil leaves, finely shredded 2 leaves

1 . Stage

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil; cook the rotini at a boil until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes; drain.
