1 . Stage

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Cut cod fillets into serving pieces. Arrange in an ungreased baking dish and sprinkle with lemon juice, butter pieces, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, and pepper.
