1. Vegetable oil, or as needed 1 ½ teaspoons
2. White onion, chopped 1 large
3. Garlic, chopped 2 cloves
4. Boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed 4 large
5. Picante sauce 2 cups
6. Dry white wine ¼ cup
7. Ground cumin 2 tablespoons
8. Dried sage 1 tablespoon
9. Bay leaf 1
10. Black beans, undrained 1 (15 ounce) can
11. Pinto beans, undrained 1 (15 ounce) can
12. Roma tomatoes, chopped 6
13. Chopped green chilies 1 (4 ounce) can

How to cook deliciously - Picante Chicken Chili

1 . Stage

Heat oil in a pot over medium-high heat. Saute onion and garlic until onion is translucent, about 5 minutes. Add chicken; cook and stir until mostly opaque, about 5 minutes. Add picante sauce, wine, cumin, sage, and bay leaf. Stir in black beans and pinto beans. Add tomatoes and chiles; simmer until flavors meld, about 10 minutes.
