Ingredients for - Rice with Almonds and Raisins

1. Butter 1 tablespoon
2. Finely chopped onion ⅓ cup
3. Uncooked white rice 1 cup
4. Raisins 2 tablespoons
5. Chicken broth 1 ½ cups
6. Salt and pepper to taste 1 ½ cups
7. Sliced almonds ¼ cup

How to cook deliciously - Rice with Almonds and Raisins

1 . Stage

Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Saute onion, stirring, until tender. Stir in the rice, raisins, broth, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.

2 . Stage

Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes, or until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed. Stir in almonds before serving.
