1. 2 salmon or halibut steaks (8 ounces each) -

3. 2 tablespoons lemon juice -
4. 1 green onion, sliced -
5. 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley -
6. 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt -
7. 1/8 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning -

How to cook deliciously - Salmon Steak

1. Stage

Preheat your oven to 400°F. Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking dish to prevent the salmon from sticking.

Place the salmon steaks in the prepared baking dish and top with melted butter and lemon juice, ensuring even coverage on the front and back of the steaks.

Combine the sliced green onion, minced parsley, garlic salt and lemon-pepper seasoning in a small bowl. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the salmon steaks.

Bake the salmon, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Editor's Tip: To ensure your salmon is perfectly cooked, use a meat thermometer. The USDA recommends that cooked salmon should reach a temperature of at least 145°.
