1. 1 boneless pork shoulder (about 2 pounds) -
2. 1/2 c. all-purpose flour -
3. 2 tbsp. vegetable oil -
4. 1 jar Pace® Salsa Verde -
5. 2 large red and/or green peppers -
6. 3 large carrots -
7. Chopped fresh cilantro leaves -
8. Hot cooked rice -

How to cook deliciously - Salsa Verde Pork and Pepper Stew

1. Stage

Coat the pork with the flour.

2. Stage

Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork and cook in 2 batches until it's well browned, stirring often.

3. Stage

Stir the pork, salsa, peppers, and carrots in a 6-quart slow cooker.

4. Stage

Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours or until the pork is fork-tender. Sprinkle with the cilantro and serve with the rice.

Serving suggestion: Serve with a yellow rice blend, for a change, and add a tossed green salad. For dessert serve baked apples with cinnamon sugar topping.
