Ingredients for - Sesame-Seared Tuna

1. Soy sauce - ¼ cup
2. Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
3. Mirin (Japanese sweet wine) - 1 tablespoon
4. Honey - 1 tablespoon
5. Rice wine vinegar - 1 tablespoon
6. Sesame seeds - ½ cup
7. Tuna steaks - 4 (6 ounce)
8. Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
9. Wasabi paste - 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - Sesame-Seared Tuna

1. Stage

Stir together soy sauce, sesame oil, mirin, and honey in a small bowl. Pour half into a separate small bowl, stir in rice wine vinegar, and set it aside as a dipping sauce.

2. Stage

Spread sesame seeds out on a plate. Coat tuna steaks with remaining soy sauce mixture, then press into sesame seeds to coat.

3. Stage

Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over high heat until very hot. Place steaks in the pan; sear for about 30 seconds on each side. Serve with dipping sauce and wasabi paste.
